In relation to support: the charity that looks after prostate cancer peer support groups across the UK is Tackle Prostate Cancer. Their website has a search tool for the one nearest you, plus there are some online meetings for particular groups, like LGBTQ+, partners, people with advanced PC, people who've had brachytherapy, etc.
I am totally with you on the ‘taking responsibility’ thing, going forward.
My partner, Tim’s, prostate cancer had escaped by the time he was diagnosed and gone into his seminal vesicles and spine.
He refused radiotherapy.
He is now on 2 types of hormones; PROSTRAP, injected every 3 months and Enzalutamide, 4 tablets daily.
He had his 3 monthly test phone consultation yesterday and as it has been for quite a long time now they said his PSA is undetectable.
The main ‘alternative’ thing that he’s been doing is having TURKEY TAIL mushrooms in his Kefir every morning, along with eating lots of fruit & veggies.
In Japan turkey tail is on prescription as an Immune system stimulant.
Check it out.
Who knows, but for the time being anyway, something seems to be working.
Hey Lee....Turkey Tail has just been delivered this week, I have been doing Shiitake for quite a while now (and actually really like it) and also Green Tea is recommended. Good news on the PSA undetectable (yes?)?
A keto diet is supposed to be good against all forms of cancer as it deprives it the sugar it feeds on.
Turkey Tail was also recommended to me but the first lot of tablets I took didn’t help lower my PSA.
The question is, how did the cancer accumulate so much in the first place.
Hard to pinpoint but I did have several ‘medical procedures’ in that area over the last 20-25 years, which I’m sure didn’t help.
My general research has revealed that the ‘state injectables’ from 2021 are a definite cause of many aggressive cancers.
Further research points to the fact that all inoculations are dangerous, especially given that they are all given a blanket free pass when it comes to testing and approval.
It is now my personal opinion that anything we put in or on our bodies or allow to be put in or on is a vector of attack to be exploited.
Did you know… cancer is the largest earner for pharma companies and the medical profession?
And now the Trump administration is proposing ‘cancer vaccines’??
Point well made @Sir John Galt - "Did you know… cancer is the largest earner for pharma companies and the medical profession?" This does not surprise and also causes a concern for me personally, why would any profit making organisation want to progress development of a shorter term treatment approach/curative solution when they are making so much money from the current treatments!
Just to say for Sir John Galt & if anyone was unaware: There are actually two vaccines which can protect against cancer – the HPV and HBV vaccines. The HPV vaccines prevents against the Human Papilloma Virus, which is linked to cervical, anal, throat and other cancers. The HBV vaccines protects against the hepatitis B virus, which can cause long–term damage to the liver and increase the risk of liver cancer.
I hear your concerns and worries, Mark. I just want to help raise awareness and try to help us avoid promoting myths and fears, by sharing hard evidence/facts from experts. BTW I very much agree in empowerment and agency around cancer treatment.

I’m going to check out the broccoli thing now.

I could offer thoughts but best to share an oncologist's words
